The Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM) require arrangements to be made to ensure the health, safety and welfare on construction sites. CDM places legal duties on virtually everyone involved in construction work.
With simple, sensible safety advice, construction sites need not continue to provide appalling accident statistics. Safety is the Key can help with site inspections and basic site training for employees, contractors and sub-contractors.
Our Training Sessions are tailored to your site, your working conditions and your needs. Safety is the Key aims to enhance your on-site safety record and keep the Inspector away.
Option A: £499 (Smaller Projects)
Half day site visit to include:
Inspection, Toolbox training session with on-site workers, Audit and comprehensive Safety Report. Further visits to the same site will be charged at £299 per site visit, training and report.
Option B: £899 (Larger Projects)
Half day site visit to include:
Inspection, Toolbox training session with on-site workers, Audit and comprehensive Safety Report. Further visits to the same site will be charged at £349 per site visit, training and report.
Option C: From just £499
Help
with completing Construction related work, Method Statements, Accreditations, Forms and
Questionnaires. Includes CDM, CHAS, EXOR, Approved Contractor or Local Authority Approved Lists and
anything related to health and safety in the Construction Industry.
Option D: Acting as CDM-C CDM Co-ordinator
Our CDM Coordinators will help you through any project from the
very small up to £5 million.
We can offer immediate access. Our Consultancy service will
involve meeting Clients/Architects at their own offices, on site or at our
Croydon office, to discuss the specific requirements of the project with a view
to carrying out the work efficiently and cost effectively within your required
timescale.
Choose the pricing structure most suitable for you:
Option
1: £65.00 per hour*.
The advantage of this Option is that Clients can control their costs.
For less complicated projects or those with fewer H&S issues, the CMD
Co-ordinator costs will be significantly lower than the normal % basis fees.
Option 2: Between 1.5% and 5% Project Fee*
(depends on project complexity)
The advantage of this Option is that Clients can budget the fees
upfront and know precisely the CMD Co-ordinator costs. Subject to site hazards,
work involved and fair T&C’s.
Full CDM
Co-ordinator Services on construction-related projects as discussed to include:
- advise and assist the client with
their duties;
- notify details of the project to
HSE;
- co-ordinate health and safety
aspects of design work and co-operate with others involved with the
project;
- facilitate good communication
between the client, designers and contractors;
- liaise with the principal
contractor regarding on-going design work;
- identify, collect and pass on
pre-construction information; and
- prepare/update the health and
safety file
- attend pre-planning and on-going
site meetings as required
- regular on-site
Audits/Inspections/Assessments as required
- offer H&S advice and
assistance as required
